How to find the right massage chair
We'll calmly walk you through the choices that matter — so you know exactly what to look for before you sit in the chair.

Who will use it?
Should the chair be used by one person or by the entire household? If there's a big difference in height, body scanning and settings become more important, because the chair needs to find the shoulders of both the shortest and tallest user.

What should it solve?
Think about what you feel in your body during a week. Tensions in the back and neck point in one direction, recovery after training in another, and the desire to calm down in the evening in a third. You don't have to choose everything — just what's most prominent.

Where should it be placed?
Measure the space before looking at models. Remember space backward to recline, and consider whether the chair should be in the living room, where it's also seen when not in use.
Jargon-free dictionary
2D / 3D / 4D / XD
The number of directions the rollers can move in. 2D moves up/down and sideways, 3D adds depth, 4D also varies speed and rhythm, and XD continuously varies pressure throughout the program.
This is what it means for you: The more dimensions, the more the massage feels like a pair of hands rather than a fixed mechanical movement.
S-track / L-track / SL-track
The rail on which the rollers run. S follows the curve of the spine, L continues down under the buttocks and thighs, and SL combines the two.
This is what it means for you: A longer track also treats the lower back, buttocks, and back of the thighs — not just the back.
Zero gravity
A reclining position where the legs are raised to the level of or above the heart, so the weight is evenly distributed.
This is what it means for you: Pressure on the lower back is reduced, and the massage feels more intense without becoming harder.
Air compression (airbags)
Air cushions in the seat, arms, shoulders, and calves that inflate and deflate.
This is what it means for you: This provides a soft, enveloping massage of areas the rollers cannot reach.
Body scanning
The chair measures your body before the program starts and adjusts where the rollers work.
This is what it means for you: Shoulders and lower back are targeted correctly, even when several people of different heights share the chair.
Heat and infrared
Heated zones in the lower back, seat, hands, calves, or feet.
This is what it means for you: Heat makes it comfortable to sit longer in the chair, especially during the cold months.
Stretch
Programs where the chair holds the body and legs and gently stretches them.
This is what it means for you: Good if you sit a lot during the day and feel stiff in your hips and back.
Walking technology
Rollers that move in a walking pattern down the back instead of moving in fixed tracks.
This is what it means for you: The massage feels more alive and less predictable.
Noise level
The sound from motors and air compressor during a program.
This is what it means for you: If the chair is to be placed in the living room, it matters if others can watch TV at the same time.
Space requirements / wall-hugger
Wall-hugger means that the chair slides forward when reclined, instead of requiring space behind it.
This is what it means for you: You can place the chair closer to the wall and save space in the room.

Space at home
Measure the width where the chair will stand, and remember the armrests. Then measure the forward distance when the chair is fully reclined — this is where most people are surprised.
Wall-hugger practically means that the chair slides forward instead of backward when reclined. You still need to account for some space behind the chair, but far less than with a classic recliner.
Delivery is free in the Nordics, and stocked models are typically shipped within 1-2 days. Please inform us in advance about stairs, elevators, and doorways so delivery can be planned correctly.
Try it before you buy
Sit in the chair for 15-20 minutes and run through a full program. Feel if the rollers hit your lower back and shoulders correctly, try both the softest and strongest levels, and pay attention to noise, heat, and ease of operation.

Frequently asked questions
How long does it take to choose a massage chair?
Most people are decided after one showroom visit. Come with an idea of what the chair should solve and where it should be placed — then there will be plenty of time to try two or three models at leisure.
Is a more expensive chair always better?
No. The price follows the number of functions, the length of the track, and the technology. If you have a simple need, a smaller model might be the right choice — the crucial thing is that the chair fits your body and your space.
How much space should I account for?
Measure the width including armrests and the forward distance when the chair is reclined. If the chair is a wall-hugger, it slides forward and can be placed closer to the wall.
What is the difference between 3D, 4D, and XD?
3D adds depth to the movement, 4D also varies speed and rhythm, and XD continuously varies pressure throughout the program. The more dimensions, the more natural the massage feels.
How long is the warranty?
You get a 5-year warranty on massage chairs and beds, and 2 years on other products. We have our own service department and spare parts warehouse in Denmark.
